DSIV Wear Protection Day in Wuppertal

We were there! capilla took part in the first DSIV Wear Protection Day on 23 April 2026 in Wuppertal with a technical presentation. The German Bulk Solids Industry Association (DSIV), together with the University of Wuppertal (Bergische Universität Wuppertal), had invited participants to this subject area for the first time.

Seven speakers examined wear protection from different angles – from the fundamentals of wear mechanisms and testing methods through to concrete solutions from practice. On behalf of capilla, Andreas Frische spoke about application-specific wear protection that is precisely tailored to the properties and requirements of different bulk materials.

The conference was rounded off by a tour of the laboratories of the University of Wuppertal, where wear testing was demonstrated in a hands-on way. We would like to thank the DSIV and the university for the successful premiere and the technical exchange – and we are already looking forward to a sequel.
