Excellent workability of coatings, e.g. for edge overlays.
The coatings can be easily machined and are very well fileable.
Applications
For thermal spraying with simultaneous fusing on cast iron materials such as lamellar grey cast iron, cast iron with spheroidal graphite, black and white malleable cast iron.
Typical application examples are: glass moulds, repair of shrinkage cavities and machining defects on new castings, bearing seats, gear wheels, collapse points on deep-drawing tools, exhaust manifolds as well as the repair of broken castings such as cylinder heads.
