Applications / Features
An iron-based flux-cored wire for hardfacing on replacement, wear and machine components exposed to abrasive wear and extremely high impact loads in service.
The weld metal is crack-free, low-fume and low-spatter.
The microstructure contains up to 50% complex fine special carbides, homogeneously distributed in different shapes and sizes and embedded in the matrix. The microstructure offers very high hardness together with extremely high impact toughness, resists mineral attack and, due to its high scratch hardness, is resistant to grooving wear. The matrix or microstructure can be adapted, fine-tuned and adjusted during the process to the bulk material to be crushed and conveyed.
