Applications / Features
A chromium-free iron-based flux-cored wire for tools and components exposed to extremely abrasive wear and high impact loads, even at high operating temperatures.
In the very finely lamellar weld metal, up to 50% complex fine special carbides are homogeneously distributed in different sizes and embedded in the matrix in a rounded morphology. The weld metal offers very high hardness and impact toughness, resists extremely fine mineral attack and, due to its high scratch hardness, is resistant to grooving wear. The matrix can be fine-tuned and adjusted during the process.
Interpass temperatures should not exceed 150°C.
For operating temperatures up to 700°C.
