Applications / Features

Basic-coated high-performance electrode for hardfacing and joint welds on ferritic-martensitic chromium steels.

The weld metal is corrosion-resistant in line with comparable Cr(Ni) steels and very resistant to wear and cavitation.

For thick-walled parts, preheating to max. 150°C according to base material analysis. If required, post-treatment, tempering or Vergoodn.

Applications

Suitable for base materials such as:

1.4000 (X 6 Cr 13),

1.4001 (X 7 Cr 14),

1.4002 (X 6 CrAl 13),

1.4407 ((G-X5CrNiMo13-4),

1.4313 (X 3 CrNiMo 13-4),

1.4413 (X3CrNiMo13-4),

1.4414 (G-X4CrNiMo13-4).

Suitable for hardfacing and joining welds on matching and similar 13%Cr-steels and steel castings.

Particularly suitable in the field of water-turbine construction.
