Gouging electrode with a special coating for machining many metals.
Specially developed for gouging and burning in toolmaking.
Applications
Suitable for base materials such as:
Unalloyed and high-alloy steels,
stainless and heat-resistant steels,
gray cast iron and steel castings,
light and non-ferrous metals, etc.
The electrode enables precise work in the making for removing fatigued or cracked hard material layers.
If necessary, use dye penetrant inspection to ensure that the base material is completely crack-free after gouging.
