Applications / Features

Cr-Si alloyed solid wire for tough, hard, abrasion-resistant

MIG/MAG hardfacing welds on machine components subjected to high sliding wear and heavy impact stress.

Other shielding gases may change hardness values.

Untreated weld metal can only be machined by grinding.

Crack-sensitive base materials preheated to approx.

200-300°C preheated.

For highly crack-sensitive base materials, an intermediate layer (buffer layer) is required.

Applications

Suitable for repair and new manufacture of tools and machine components from structural steel, steel castings or manganese steel,

such as:

rolls/rollers, impact plates,

forging, pressing and drawing tools,

Rollers, running surfaces, crawler tracks, impellers, edge mills, excavator parts, conveyor screws, roll crushers, impact hammers, rolling-mill guides, cams, clamping jaws, impact jaws, mixer arms, anvils.
