Applications / Features

Self-protecting flux-cored wire for hardfacing welds on parts, subject to very severe abrasive mineral wear .

The addition of 1.3% molybdenum gives the overlay additional heat resistance (operating temperatures up to 450°C).

overlay in 2-3 layers, not thicker than 8-10 mm.

The microstructure is austenitic with a large number of embedded primary carbides and eutectic M7C3 carbides and is less suitable for impact and shock stress.

Applications

Suitable for overlay welding on components such as:

impact plates, suction dredgers, slagnbrechern, crusherhammern, conveyor screws, Ruhrarme,

Fuhrungselementen and Schleuderradern,

Mixer paddles, wear plates, concrete pumps,

Descaling plants, crusher rolls, grinding tyres.
