Self-protecting (Open-Arc) flux-cored wire electrode for hardfacing welds on parts, subject to very severe abrasive mineral wear .
Maximum deposit in 2–3 layers,
not thicker than 8-10 mm.
The microstructure is austenitic with a large number of embedded primary carbides and eutectic M7C3 carbides and is less suitable for impact and shock stress.
Applications
Suitable for machine parts and equipment made of structural steel, cast steel or manganese hard steel,
(which are exposed to very high abrasive wear from abrasive substances), such as:
Press moulds, mixing and stirring paddles, excavator teeth, guides, chutes, conveyor systems and similar parts,
the severe abrasive wear at lowrem compression or impact .
