Flexible, pliable welding rod. Coating manufactured as a composite of various shapes and sizes of crushed tungsten carbide.ten carbide (WC). The welding rod has very high matrix and scratch hardness. The rod is used for hard overlay welding on components exposed to extremely fine-mineral abrasive wear.
The workpiece surface must be free of scale, rust, oil and grease and free of old loose residues and contamination. In the area of hardfacing, a uniform preheat of 300°C – 350°C throughout the cross-section must be ensured. In the hardfacing area, the component surface temperature should be approx. 650°C at the start of hard overlay welding.

Suitable for hardfacing on:
Tools and attachments used in soil, rock and earth applications, in mining, open-pit mining and tunneling, and in the foundry, forging,ng-,ng, steel, iron, metallurgy, glass, brick and refractory industries.
