Applications / Features
flux-cored wire electrode for MSG welds, consisting of a self-fluxing NiBSi based alloy and spherical fused tungsten carbides embedded in the sheath.
The armour weld is extremely resistant to corrosive and abrasive loading and is also highly temperature-resistant.
The workpiece surface must be free of scale, rust, oil and grease and free of old loose residues and contamination. The applied layer is pore-free and features a smooth, clean surface. Hardfacing welds are dimensionally stable at edges and can be easily shaped during processing.
Applications
Suitable for hardfacing on:
Tools and attachments used in soil, rock and earth applications, in mining, open-pit mining and tunneling, and in the foundry, forging,ng-,ng, steel, iron, metallurgy, glass, brick and refractory industries.
Typical components:
Screw presses, separators, decanters, screw segments, screw tools, conveyor screws, impact bars, cutting edges, cutting heads, knives, scrapers, mandrels, ploughshare mixers, armoring of crowns, drill crowns, deep-drilling bits, round-shank chisels, coal planers, cutting machines, core molds, pan scrapers, mixing shovels, mixing tools, nozzles, form drills, excavator teeth, tooth tips and rotary valves.
