Applications / Features

Basic-coated high-performance electrode for low-susceptibility-to-cracking hardfacing and joining welds on Nickel-alloys and cryogenically tough Nickel-steels.

Good thermal-shock resistance.

temperaturebegrenzungen:
operating temperatures of -196°C up to 650°C.
Scale-resistant up to 950°C,
fully loaded welds max. 800 °C,
in sulphur-containing atmospheres max. 500 °C.

Applications

Suitable for hardfacing and joint welds in chemical apparatus engineering on similar and related alloys.

corrosion-resistant overlays also on unalloyed and low-alloy steels.

Even at elevated temperatures no carbon diffusion from the ferritic base material in the fully austenitic weld metal.
