Applications / Features
Cobalt-based flux-cored wire for wear-resistant GMAW hardfacing on unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy, heat-resistant, stainless and acid-resistant steels and cast steel.
Distinguished by a particularly favourable coefficient of friction under "metal-to-metal" wear.
temperature resistance up to 800°C and briefly up to 1100°C. Crack avoidance by preheating of the base material to 200-300°C.
Machining by chip removal is possible to a limited extent.
Applications
High-temperature special alloy suitable for hardfacing welds subjected to thermal cycling.
Particularly for impact- and shock-resistant armour welding of hot-work tools such as:
Forging dies, hot piercing punches, Hot trimming tools.
