Co-based welding rod for wear-resistant TIG hardfacing welds
on unalloyed, low-alloy and
high-alloy, heat-, corrosion- and acid-resistant
steels and steel castings.
Distinguished by a particularly favourable
coefficient of friction under wear conditions "metal against
metal".
temperature resistance up to 800°C;
briefly up to 1100°C.
Applications
Suitable for impact- and shock-resistant hardfacing
of hot-work tools such as:
forging dies,
hot piercing punches,
Hot trimming tools.
Suitable for high-temperature special alloys
(which are subjected to temperature cycling).
Machining by chip removal is possible to a limited extent.
