Applications / Features
Stick electrode for wear-resistant overlays
on unalloyed, low-alloy and high-alloy, heat-resistant, stainless and
acid-resistant steels and steel castings.
Characterised by a particularly favourable
coefficient of friction under "metal-to-metal" wear.
temperature resistance up to 800°C;
up to 1100 °C for short periods.
Machining by chip removal is possible to a limited extent.
Applications
High-temperature special alloy for
hardfacing welds exposed to
temperature cycling.
Especially suitable for impact- and shock-resistant hardfacing
on hot-work tools such as:
forging dies,
hot piercing punches,
Hot trimming tools.
