Applications / Features
Basic-coated stick electrode for hardfacing welds.
The weld metal work-hardens and is highly corrosion-resistant in reducing and particularly in oxidising media.
Due to the high Cr content, the alloy is
heat- and scale-resistant.
Wear-resistant on thermally highly stressed hot-work tools.
Applications
Suitable for base materials such as:
2.4602 (NiCr21Mo14W),
2.4605 (NiCr23Mo16Al),
2.4610 (NiMo16Cr16Ti),
2.4819 (NiMo16Cr15W).
Suitable for hardfacing and joining welds on matching and similar alloys in chemical pressure vessel construction.
Also suitable for corrosion-resistant hardfacing welds on unalloyed and low-alloy steels.
